Challenge: To help secure competitive grant funding for a micro-lender reaching out to the New York small business community, post 9/11. To develop and implement the micro-lender's technical assistance program for New York small businesses, and evaluate and recommend small businesses eligible for its grant funding program.
Solution: Time2Market provided grant funding advisory services to the micro-lender, developed, marketed, and implemented a 3-module training course for small businesses, and performed due diligence and business evaluations for grant candidates.
Result: The training course series was launched and piloted in two months. It was extremely well received by NYC small business advocates and program participants. The micro-lender quickly received grant funding for a two-year technical assistance program and established its own grant funding program. Select small business course participants received grant funding for growth.
